Our Story
Aimed at the Intersection of Strategy and Trading for Natural Gas Assets, Renewables and Maritime Energy Transport
Strella was founded in 2012 by Al Garcia, who has spent decades working in energy trading, marketing, consulting roles at major trading and advisory houses, providing strategic and project level advisory across gas-fired generation, LNG and LPG shipping since 2012.
Our name draws from 'estrella' — star — and the nautical tradition of navigating by the stars. It reflects who we are: a company that helps clients find their bearing in a rapidly changing energy landscape, and chart a course toward a more resilient, lower-carbon future.
Today, Strella works with US and international asset owners, operators, and developers across the full energy spectrum — market entry strateties, to gas-fired asset optimization, utility-scale renewable asset development and maritime fuel transport.
